The accommodation at PopMesse 2023 is realized in collaboration with Mendel University again. The dorms are comfortable, affordable and situated within a close vicinity of the festival area. A shuttle bus to the accommodation will be provided. The accommodation is in the form of two-bed rooms with shared sanitary facilities (WC and showers) and kitchens in the hallways. The price per bed per night is 600 CZK with breakfast included. Attention! The capacity is restricted to 600 slots, it will be expanded in case of greater interest!


For ecological reasons it is recommended to arrive at the festival via train or bus. All visitors with a PopMesse 2023 ticket have a 30% discount for interstate public transport via České dráhy to and from Brno. The discount will be applied regardless of previously applied discounts. That adds up to a 50% discount for students, InKarta holders and such.


The discount code will be made public at the beginning of July. The discount can be applied by entering the discount code in the České dráhy e-shop.


We recommend traveling by train or bus. In case you decide to arrive by car, please be aware that the festival provides no parking spots. Drivers can park in parking houses or paid blue zones ( The festival area is easily accessible by public transport from your parked car.

Public Transport in Brno

We have ensured comfortable traveling with a weekend ticket for 50 CZK.


All visitors with a valid ticket will have the possibility to buy a 48 hour public transport ticket for the friendly price of 50 CZK (from 12:00 on Friday July 28th 2023 until 12:00 on Sunday July 29th 2023). The ticket is valid for trams, buses and trolleys in the 100 and 101 tariff zones (not valid for trains).


The ticket can be bought in the ticket section where a standalone VEZEMESSE ŠMIRGL KARTE 2023 category can be found. In case of ticket inspection, the validity of the ticket can be proven by providing the purchased GoOut ticket Vezemesse Smirgl Karte.


            –           From the main train station we recommend taking the no. 1 tram line in direction Řečkovice. Get off at the Hrnčířská stop. Walk down Rybníček street which leads to Sportovní street where the festival area is located. See attached map.

            –           It is also possible to take the 67 trolley from the main train station which will take you directly to the festival area – the Sportovní stop.

            –           Among other comfortable connections is the no. 6 tram line which goes through the Česká stop. The 25 and 26 trolleys (to the Zimní stadion stop) are ideal when traveling from the Mendlovo náměstí direction.


In case you decide to arrive by car, please note that the festival provides no parking spots. Drivers are recommended to use P+R parking areas, the DOMINI PARK parking house, underground parking near the Janáček Theatre, the ROZMARÝN parking house and more. More info at


The paid blue parking zones are also available for parking ( Parking in blue zones during the weekend is not regulated and therefore free.


The PopMesse festival area is easily accessible via public transport from your parked car.

One of PopMesse’s main priorities is to ensure safety and compliance with hygienic measures. We recommend working with the organizers and making sure that you are not bringing any potentially harmful objects into the festival area.


Every festival area entry will be preceded by a security check during which the security will monitor the contents of your backpack, bag or handbag.
