Playful r’n’b and flashy funk unafraid of activism.

Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul make the perfect electronic soul that leaves no one static. The Belgian singer Adigéry released successful singles with the Soulwax duo as well as valued experiments under the alias WWWater but then met the producer Bolis Pupul and everything clicked. A bit of eccentricity, dry sound of French electro and a voice that cracks rocks, that is the perfect combination. Their last year’s album Urban Dancer is a climax of a five-year collaboration; Adgéry’s lyrics touch on the burning topics of colonialism or the vanity of life on social media while Pupul’s production calls to the dancefloor, creating an irresistible musical result.
