An explosion of futuristic jazz from Vienna.
The synth guru Dorian Concept and a jazz drummer/producer Cid Rim have known each other since childhood and are just going on a conjoined tour again. Dorian Concept is known for loosely fusing electronic music, jazz, hip hop and ambient, he had released music under Ninja Tune or Brainfeeder and collaborated with the likes of Flying Lotus or The Cinematic Orchestra. Cid Rim already played drums in a trio that Dorian Concept set off to promote his Joined Ends album with. By then, Clemens Bacher aka Cid Rim was just getting used to the scene. He studied jazz drumming but has later fallen for electronic machines. He has remixed tracks by Chvrches or Darwin Deez and produced beats for Theophilus London. Cid Rim’s recordings can be found in the cult LuckyMe label’s catalogue. Together with Dorian Concept, they will bring Brno an explosive fusion of electronic music and jazz polyrhythms.
