A raw post-punk typhoon from Dublin.

The Irish rock five-piece Gurriers has only released five singles so far but is already being talked about as a new European sensation. They started during the lockdown and the hunger for performing live made a clear mark on their raw, confrontational sound. It sounds of post-punk, noise rock and shoegaze. During their short career, they already supported more renowned colleagues such as Goat Girl and Enola Gay and managed to travel through a part of the west of Europe. They made a name for themselves with their performance at the 2023 The Great Escape Festival. Now an album is anticipated. “Raw as a butcher’s cut, but just as fresh,” described their live performance the musical journalist Tony Clayton-Lea in The Irish Times.
