Viktor Ori

A millennial stripped of ideals – that’s how Bratislava’s musician Viktor Ori describes himself.

For years he played in the experimental rock band shallov, but last year he set out for a solo career and recorded the album LEPSIE NEBOLO NIKDY DOBRE NEBUDE under his own name. He switched English for his native Slovak, the intensity remained but synthesizers were given space next to guitars and drums. The result is an enchanting album about finding sense in a world that ceased to make it. The record with a strong personal statement isn’t unsimilar to albums by Berlin Manson or Fvck_Kvlt, both of which both Ori and shallov often play shows together, but sonically it is absolutely unique.
