► To activate the return ticket, you must confirm your attendance at the festival by scanning a QR code via the Můj vlak app. This code will be available throughout the festival at a booth near the entrance to the venue.

Getting around Brno
In cooperation with DPMB (Brno Public Transport), we have prepared a special weekend ticket for CZK 80, valid:

With this ticket, you can travel unlimitedly on trams, trolleybuses, and buses throughout Brno (zones 100 + 101). The ticket is not valid on trains.
We recommend cooperating with the organizers and making sure before entering the festival that you are not bringing any potentially dangerous items into the venue (e.g. sharp objects, flammable substances, alcohol, drugs, weapons, selfie sticks, umbrellas – we recommend bringing a raincoat instead – or your own food and non-alcoholic beverages).
Exceptions apply to food for small children and specific dietary needs (e.g. for people with diabetes, celiac disease, etc.).
A security check will be conducted before entry. Security staff will inspect the contents of your backpack, bag, or purse.

Accessibility: Holders of a ZTP/P disability card are entitled to a 50% discount on their ticket, and may bring one accompanying person who also receives a 50% discount.
Children: Children under the age of 15 have free entry. Legal guardians are responsible for minors under the age of 18.
Animals: Animals are not allowed inside the festival grounds.
Exception: Assistance dogs with proper documentation.
GDPR: By entering the festival, you consent to the use of photographic and audiovisual recordings for further promotional use by the festival.
Photography / Video: The use of flash or any equipment that may disturb or inconvenience other festival visitors is prohibited.

This year again, we offer you comfortable accommodation right next to the exhibition grounds – at the Vinařská Dormitories. You can look forward to a bed, shower, and toilet.

Payment will be made upon arrival at the reception desk, either in cash (CZK) or by card.
Upon arrival (from 2:00 PM), a valid ID is required, and a registration form must be completed. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 11:00 AM.

I have leftover credit after the event — how do I get it back?
Refunding your remaining credit is free of charge and available for accounts in both CZK and EUR. Just scan your chip in the NFCtron mobile app, and with three clicks, request a refund to your bank account.
Refund requests can be made up to 14 days after the event ends. Cash refunds are not possible.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
PopMesse is a progressive festival of contemporary popular music and technology that respects sustainable development and unites people in a unique destination in the centre of Europe. It Brings novel dramaturgy filled with contemporary names from both the local and the global scene to Brno. Space is, however, also given to legends of alternative music, many of which have not played in the Czech Republic before.
THE FESTIVAL AREA
The world’s oldest cycling track of its kind.
Velodrom’s history dates all the way back to 1889 when a fictile cycling track was created in the location. During the course of its existence, sports as well as cultural events were hosted in it; for example, the 1969 and 1981 track cycling world championships and a The Cure concert in 1998.

THE FESTIVAL HISTORY
The bar is high but the 2024 instalment is prepared to go over it. Newly, Pop Messe moves further south into Velodrom in the Brno Exhibition Centre area; the progressive, novel dramaturgy, however, stays. Names are beng added to the line-up. Pop Messe 2024 will be more packed, grander, longer and rounder…
The third edition saw Pop Messe forced to leave the premises of the football stadium which was no longer safe for visitors and move outside into the area around Boby Centrum. The packed lineup featured the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Max Cooper or Young Fathers and the organisers proved once again that the curse over urban festivals in Brno has been broken.
The second instalment was geographically widened by the neighbouring 90s temple of opulence, Boby Centrum. The retro-futuristic premises hosted global stars such as The Bug, Skepta, Ride or Son Lux. The programme, however, also offered concerts of local legends Iva Bittová a Dunaj or WWW. The instalment was met with enthusiastic reception of the visitors as well as media. “Pop Messe is on a promising route towards becoming one of the best Czech urban festivals,” wrote Full Moon Zine. The following February, Pop Messe was awarded a Vinyla award in the Achievement of the Year category.
The following summer finally allowed the first full-fledged PopMesse to happen, located in the attractive space of a decaying yet cult football stadium Za Lužánkami. The second stage was located in the city centre on Moravské náměsí. The second-to-last July weekend presented Brno with performing artists such as Modeselektor, Tommy Cash, Aïsha Devi or Dorian Concept.
The first instalment, planned for summer 2020, was forced to face the reality of the counter-pandemic measures and was turned into a two-day lasting online event Pop Messe Live. It featured Czech bands such as Post-hudba or Bert & Friends.
Místo konání
Nejstarší cyklistická dráha svého druhu na světě.
Historie Velodromu sahá až do roku 1889, kdy byla na dnešním místě zřízena hliněná cyklistická dráha. Za dobu svého fungování byl Velodrom dějištěm několika sportovních a kulturních svátků, namátkou: mistrovství světa v dráhové cyklistice (1969, 1981), nebo koncert The Cure (1998).
Historie
Festival Pop Messe se pro svůj pátý ročník usadil v Brněnském Velodromu a přilehlém klubu ENTER a přes zničující vedro to byl nezapomenutelný víkend. V lineupu se tísnilo téměř 60 umělců z 18 zemí a spolu s nadšenými ohlasy fanoušků potvrdili úspěch nové dramaturgie i prostoru. Mezi highlighty patřilo vystoupení Leftfield, Sleaford Mods, FVLCRVMa nebo Kiasmos. Poslední červencový víkend roku 2024 potvrdil, že Pop Messe roste v mezinárodně uznávanou akci s výraznou dramaturgií a silným uměleckým potenciálem.
Pro třetí edici už Pop Messe muselo opustit fotbalový stadion, který přestal být pro návštěvníky bezpečný, a venkovní program se přesunul do prostor před Boby Centrum. V nabitém lineupu se na konci července v Brně objevili třeba Hudson Mohawke, Max Cooper nebo Young Fathers a pořadatelé znovu dokázali, že kletba městských festivalů v největším moravském městě je konečně zlomena.
Druhý ročník rozšířil pole působnosti i o sousední devadesátkový chrám bezuzdnosti Boby Centrum. V retrofuturistických prostorách zahrály zahraniční hvězdy jako The Bug, Skepta, Ride nebo Son Lux. Program ale nabídl i české legendy Ivu Bitovou a Dunaj nebo WWW. Ročník 2022 sklidil nadšené ohlasy návštěvníků, k nimž se přidala i média. „Pop Messe je na skvělé cestě dostat se do špičky tuzemských městských festivalů,“ napsal tehdy Full Moon Zine. V únoru následujícího roku obdržel festival hudební cenu Vinyla v kategorii Počin roku.
Následující léto se konečně mohl uskutečnit první plnohodnotný ročník usazený do atraktivního prostoru chátrajícího, ale kultovního fotbalového stadionu Za Lužánkami. Druhé pódium se otevřelo v centru Brna na Moravském náměstí. Předposlední červencový víkend se na PopMesse představili třeba Modeselektor, Tommy Cash, Aïsha Devi nebo Dorian Concept.
Hned úvodní ročník plánovaný na léto 2020 se ale musel vyrovnat s nesmlouvavou realitou protipandemických opatření a festival nahradil dvoudenní online event Pop Messe Live. Zahrály na něm české kapely jako Post-hudba nebo Bert & Friends.
