Jadu Heart (Diva Jeffrey and Alex Headford) ride the tradition of British mixed musical duos of boy/girl from Eurythmics through Portishead all the way to The xx and might kind of sound like all of the mentioned bands together. They met on art school in London and their debut EP was created as a class project. When they started performing as Jadu Heart about a decade ago, they wore masks and mixed songs with theatre scenes. After the debut album Melt Away, they relocated to Bristol and threw away the masks and moved closer towards gothic rock on the album Hyper Romance. The current album Derealised is a bit more electronic, dreamy and straight-forward.
